Video 1 - Weathering A Cinzano Wagon

The board joints, corners and vertical protrusions have been heavily weathered. The more coats of Modelmates applied (and not wiped off), the darker the shade gets. 6 to 10 coats have been applied, making the effect very dark. Each coat was smudged or wiped after it had dried. |

The longer video below shows more detail. We picked up this Dutch house at Eurospoor in 2009. It's really to weather. Good quality plastic and colour fast. We use this model at exhibitions and it gets a real battering. It still washes up perfectly clean. The more coats of Modelmates applied (and not wiped off), the darker the shade gets. |
